The present investigation contributes to a better description of electron attachment to benzaldehyde and the potential role of this compound in radiation anticancer therapies.
The study carried out by the RaBBiT Doctoral Programme student João Ameixa, under the supervision of Professor Filipe Ferreira da Silva (DF - Universidade NOVA de Lisboa) and Professor Stephan Denifl (Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, Austria), within world-wide collaboration involving Professor Sylwia Ptasinska from the Notre Dame University (USA), and Professor Márcio Varella from the Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil).
