Abstract:

This presentation will give a brief review of the most recent advancements in solar laser technology, where different approaches and strategies have been developed in techniques of solar energy harvesting, towards a sustainable energy generation. The implementation of new materials under solar concentration conditions, innovative solar concentrators, numerical and experimental advancements and strategies aiming to enhance the efficiency and the stability of solar pumped lasers

Bruno Tibúrcio is PhD student of physics engineering at NOVA University.  He obtained a master degree in physics engineering (2007) from FCT-UNL.
