Funding for the HUMAI project: High Users Management with AI - An Integrated Smart Solution to Improve Care and Optimize Resources for Frequent Emergency Users was recently approved by the Foundation for Science and Technology.
This project is led by Professor Ana Londral and will be developed in collaboration between Value for Health CoLAB, NOVA.ID.FCT and Unidade Local de Saúde Almada-Seixal, with a duration of 12 months.
HUMAI aims to co-develop a digital tool to improve decision-making by the clinical team of the GRHU (Resolution Group for Frequent Users) program. User-centered design methodologies and machine learning methods will be applied to develop tools to support clinical and operational decisions, promoting the sustainability of innovative hospital management models and contributing to a more efficient and citizen-centered healthcare system
