Pedagogical Innovation in Physics Class
What if students' thoughts could become visible?
Professor Filipe Tiago de Oliveira, from the Department of Physics, was one of the professors honoured in the 1st edition of NOVA FCT's Projects for Pedagogical Innovation, with the project:
‘Thinking about Physics: Making Thought Visible in the Classroom’
The proposal transforms theoretical classes into spaces for active learning, using thinking routines, structured question formulation and collaborative protocols, promoting a deeper understanding of physics and the development of cross-cutting skills.
