Pedro Casinha, a student of the Biomedical Engineering degree at Nova FCT, was crowned European champion in the K4 500 meters, in Racice, Czech Republic.
The crew, which also includes Gustavo Gonçalves, João Ribeiro and Messias Baptista, won the A final with a time of 1:19.319, ahead of the Czech Republic, which took silver with 1:19.532, and Poland, which took bronze with 1:19.642.
